POW \/ MIA<\/h2>\n

Let us honor some Heroes today
\nThey\u2019re the POW and the MIA
\nThey went to war so we would be free
\nTheir life is at risk for you and for me.<\/p>\n

Some heroes are \u2018Missing in Action\u2019 today
\nThey fear they\u2019re forgotten \u2013 they\u2019re so far way
\nWe cannot imagine the terror they feel
\nOur feelings are heavy \u2013 their fear is real.<\/p>\n

While some are still held as \u2018Prisoner of War\u2019
\nSome have come home, a Prisoner no more
\nAs they share their stories the sadness we feel
\nTo them it was terror \u2013 their story is real.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Prisoners Of War\u2019 have stories to tell
\nSome of them felt they were living in Hell
\nThey tell us their stories \u2013 there\u2019s pain they still feel
\nTo the Veteran it\u2019s more than a story \u2013 it\u2019s real.<\/p>\n

Those Heroes we honor may never feel free
\nTheir memory is with them and will always be
\nThey lived in fear while fighting for their lives
\nAs we listen to the storiy \u2013 the Hero cries.<\/p>\n

Now let us remember those Heroes today
\nWho are still POW and MIA
\nWhen the war is over we pray they still feel
\nAmerica is worth it \u2013 and their freedom is real.<\/p>\n

When a Hero comes home to \u201cThe Land of the Free\u201d
\nRemember he fought for you and for me
\nLet\u2019s welcome him back to a home-cooked meal
\nWe can only imagine \u2013 to the Hero, it\u2019s real.<\/p>\n
